Days With Zahrah – Getaway

In celebration of Days With Zahrah’s 15th year on television I wanted to create The Getaway. Our lifestyle show dives into culture, food, wine, and experiencing unforgettable getaways.

What makes me incredibly grateful are the people I have had the opportunity to meet over the years and to get to hear and tell their stories is such an incredible blessing.

With this 15th anniversary I wanted to create a very special weekend where we could come together, toast to one another, and celebrate each other. And the Napa Valley is the perfect place.

I am so excited that our festival will take place at the Meritage Resort and Spa and at The Culinary Institute of America, on their COPIA campus, both destinations in Napa. The Getaway is a three day culinary, music, wine and art festival. With celebrity chefs, world class performances with world class artists, award winning vintners and some of the hottest art creators, we will also be celebrating culture, culinary roots and sustainability, all while raising scholarship dollars for students of African descent.
